Our Story...

I guess it all started when I became a 'collector'. From a young child, like most, we all tend to find something that ignites some kind of passion in us or something that reminds us of our childhood. For me, it was animation. From an early age, I knew I wanted to do art- some kind of art! I was given the gift of the ability to see things and then draw them. Over time, I was able to take these drawn items and 'see' them in my head. How they looked if they were turned, twisted and exaggerated in ways that other people couldn't see. Then I could draw what I 'saw'. As a child growing up in the 70's, I was overloaded with what are now considered classics of animated television. Looney Tunes, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, The Herculiods, Space Ghost, Scooby Doo, Fat Albert, The Groovy Ghoulies and so many others. The list goes on...It was great and I wanted to be a part of it..and I did! But that's another story.*

Out of all that great animation, one thing stood out to me- the great MGM's Tom & Jerry. The official Hanna-Barbera created cat and the mouse team. They were always my favorite characters and I watched them as often as I could. As I grew to an adult, they continued to be apart of my life and  I discovered by visiting toy and nostalgia collector shows, there were products out there that were based on so many different themes. There were Tom and Jerry toys, plush, plastic figures, comic books and so much more. I was hooked!

 

For over 28 years now, I have collected Tom & Jerry items of all kinds, from all different countries. Along the way, I collected other characters that I liked. Disney, Looney Tunes and others. Filling up my apartment and an off-site storage unit. Now you know the reason for this store and my eBay store. I now have too many things! For what you see on this site and my other store, are items, I must sadly now depart with. Its time to let them go. I hope to find loving homes for all of them and help make 'collectors' out of others along the way.
